Radiography Day

Radiography was invented by Wilhelm Roentgen on November 8, 1985. Before he invented radiography, he used to look at his hand in a dark room with a bright object. From this test he found out that the inner part of the body can be seen by any illuminating device. As a result, he invented radiography. 

Radiography Day is celebrated every year on November 8. This day is celebrated as the anniversary of the discovery of X-rays. The invention of radiography has made a great contribution to today's modern medical system. Most people find radiography to be their career and profession. The invention of radiography has led to the development of other large-type of radiation instruments such as CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Echocardiography, and angiography etc. Due to the radiography, the doctor is able to treat the patients suffering from complex diseases, to diagnose the disease correctly. There is no denying the fact that these devices are extremely important in protecting people from disease.

It is done to prevent the spread of a fatal disease like cancer. There is no medicine to cure for cancer. Only medicine prevents from spreading cancer to other parts of the body.  Therefore, radiography also kills the cancer germs by heating the part of body affected by cancer.

Although radiography has many advantages, it also has its disadvantages. Even if radiologists use these instruments and equipment regularly.  It causes negative effect on radiologists' health. Therefore, radiologists need to take care of their health and use it properly and appropriately.

In the end, even if it has disadvantages, not using these equipment and instruments will cause a lot of problems for the overall medical system. It seems necessary to use it in a simple way today. People who use it for the treatment of patients also use it at the risk of their own lives. We should salute their efforts. It seems necessary to spread public awareness about radiography so that they realize the importance of radiography.

                                         

                                                                                     


रेडियोग्राफी दिवस 

रेडियोग्राफीको आविष्कार सन् १ ८ ९ ५ , नोवेम्बेर ८ मा विल्हेल्म रोएंटजेनद्वारा गरेका हुन् ।  उनले  रेडियोग्राफीको आविष्कार गर्नु पूर्व आफ्नो हात कुनै उज्यालो वस्तुले अँध्यारो कोठामा  हेर्ने गर्दथे। यो  परिक्षणबाट उनले के थाहा पाए भने कुनै उज्यालो दिने उपकरण द्वारा शरीर को भित्री भाग हेर्न सकिन्छ। जसको परिणामस्वरुप उनले रेडियोग्राफीको आविष्कार गरे। 

प्रत्येक वर्ष रेडियोग्राफी दिवस नोभेम्बर ८ तारिखका दिन मनाइन्छ। यो दिवस एक्स विकिरणको  खोजी भएको वार्षिकको रुपमा मनाउने गरिन्छ। रेडियोग्राफीको आविष्कारको कारणले आजको आधुनिक चिकित्सा प्रणालीमा ठूलो योगदान रहेको छ। धेरैजसो  मानिस हरुले रेडियोग्राफीलाई आफ्नो करियर को रुप लिएको पाइन्छ। रेडियोग्राफीको आविष्कारले अन्य ठूला ठूला विकिरण का उपकरण जस्तै सिटी स्क्यान, एमआरआई, अल्ट्रासाउण्ड, इकोकार्डियोग्राफी र एनजिओग्राफीआदि अत्याधुनिक एक्सरे उपकरण बनेका छन् । रेडियोग्राफीको कारणबाट डक्टरले जटिल समस्याले ग्रसित भएका बिरामीहरुलाई उपचार गर्न र यसले रोगको सहीरुपमा निदान गर्न मद्दत गरेको छ । मानिसलाई रोगबाट बचाउने यी उपकरणहरुको अत्यन्तै महत्व रहेको यथार्थ तथ्यलाई नकार्न सकिँदैन । 

अर्बुद रोग याने कि क्यान्सरजस्तो प्राणघातक रोग फैलिन नदिनको लागि यसको गरिन्छ । क्यान्सर रोगलाई पूर्णरुपमा कुनै पनि औषधिले निको पार्न सक्दैन । त्यसैले रेडियोग्राफीले बाहिर भागमा रहेको क्यान्सर रोगलाई सेकताप गरेर क्यान्सरको कीटाणु पनि नाश गर्दछ । 

रेडियोग्राफीका धेरै फाइदा भएतापनि यसको बेफाइदा पनि उतिकै छ । यसको नियमितरुपमा प्रयोग गर्न व्यक्ति रेडियोलोजिस्टहरुको स्वास्थ्यमा समेत नकारात्मक असर गरेको छ । त्यसैले रेडियोलोजिस्टहरुले आफ्नो स्वास्थ्यको ख्याल गरी यसको सही र उपयुक्त रुपमा प्रयोग गर्नु आवश्यक छ । 

अन्त्यमा यसको बेफाइदा भएतापनि यसलाई प्रयोग नगर्न छोडनु भनेको समग्र चिकित्साप्रणाली धेरै समस्या आइपर्दछ । यसलाई सरल तरिकाले उपयोग गर्नु आजको आवश्यकता देखिन्छ । अरुको उपचारमा यसलाई प्रयोग गर्ने व्यक्तिले आफ्नो ज्यानको बाजी राखेर पनि प्रयोग गर्दछन् । उनीहरुको यो प्रयासलाई हामी सलुट गर्नुपर्दछ । रेडियोग्राफीबारेमा जनचेतना फैलाउन जरुरी देखिन्छ जसलेगर्दा उनीहरुले यसको महत्व कति रहेको भन्ने कुराको बोध हुन्छ ।
